Treadmill walking belt slows significantly or stops when the incline is raised.

Models: NTL15008,SFTL15008,24816

There is an Eddy Motor Control Board and a Motor Controller under the belly pan. There are 2 red wires that plug into LG1 and LG2 connectors on the Eddy Board. If these wires are reversed, these symptoms may occur. First verify the symptoms by running the machine in calibration mode following this procedure. In manual mode incline the deck to 20%. Remove key and calibrate the speed only as normal. If the machine runs very slowly at 85%pwm signal, exit calibration and proceed with the steps below to reverse the wires.

-Unplug the machine.
-Tilt the machine on its side as in the assembly instructions.
-Remove 9 screws from the belly cover. Remove the belly cover from the incline trainer.
-Verify the wire alignment matches the wire diagram (found in an envelope under the belly cover). The red wire from the controller should plug into the LG1 contact. The red wire from the motor should plug into the LG2. It will be easiest to trace the red wire from the motor to the eddy board. The motor wire will have a plastic connector in the middle of it.
-If the wires are routed incorrectly remove and reconnect the wires as in the wiring diagram.
