NTEX05808 Recumbent bike seeing lots of damage to upright wire harness at the upright pivot point.

Will call tag the wire harness. Customer care team will disassemble a bike and look for shear points.

NTEX4196 brake pad under seat wearing thin.

Can a separate part number be created to order just the pad? Current design going forward will have this as a replacement part.

NTEL07808 Squeaking wheels at top of ramp.

Tire gel? Will need testing still, available at auto parts store (O'rielly purple in color)

NTEL7906 Idler on the top of belt may cause belt to move. Also eddy mech needing to be shimmed to align the pullet,idler,and flywheel.

May look at a concave idler to help align or keep belt aligned.

NTEL00607 Key number 57, the bolts are too soft causing the threads and heads of the bolts to strip. This allows the upper body arms to loosen .

QC will look at deeper heads on Allen bolts. QC has asked for harder bolts but has not been able to identify that a harder bolt has been provided. QC will make sure a grade 8 bolt is called out and will see if a deeper head will be available. R&D will need to call out these changes.

GGEL63908 The crank arm is shearing off during use.

A new crank arm has been submitted to testing for approval, in process. No information from testing as of today will follow up with testing.

NTL12309 BB200161220

Incline sensor kits (286707) not on ntl12309. Kit contained 2 reed switches and 1 Hall Effect sensor. IC is looking at different sensors and possibly of backward compatibility with sensor kits and all applicable treadmill motors.

Front roller pulley side floating free causing belt alignment adjustment issues after production.

PFTL595082 The stretch belt is causing the axle shaft of the motor to bend or the bearings to fail prematurely. This is occurring on the 2.5 HP motors

Motors are to be returned to Icon for QC.

Rear roller bolts

The heads of the real roller bolts are too shallow. The customer is stripping the head of the bolts. First article bolts came with insufficient depth new bolts are on order. Possibly due to arrive in October 2010.

NTL20909 Units are shipped with loose walking belts resulting in slipping out of the box.

The washer configuration for the rear roller bolt is being changed. Icon is testing an adhesive that will prevent loosening. Part number 189861 has been provided as an interim corrective action to this problem. Icon is testing a bolt with a serrated head that might replace current bolt. The now bolt will not require any additional washers.

NTL08009 Rear roller bolts are backing out causing the walking belt to slip or loosen.

The washer configuration for the rear roller bolt is being changed. Icon is testing an adhesive that will prevent loosening. Part number 189861 has been provided as an interim corrective action to this problem. Icon is testing a bolt with a serrated head that might replace current bolt. The new bolt will not require any additional washers.
